This is an interesting matchup for a number of reasons, not the least of which it’s one of the rare occasions in the NFL where fans will see horse-on-horse action. This equine-infused contest will be a chance for Peyton Manning and his men to set an NFL mark for most consecutive regular season wins at 22.
And by all accounts, there’s no reason why Indy won’t hold this NFL football odds mark by the time the final whistle blows. Two months ago this might have been a very interesting NFL odds matchup. The Broncos and Colts were both undefeated at 5-0, but the football odds landscape has gone through quite a transition since then.

Not that many people are paying attention to the comings and goings of the NFC West (a division that has seemed relegated to second class despite producing two conference Champions in the past four years) but there is very important division match up this weekend on the NFL football odds.
The struggling Seahawks (4-7) will host the up and down Forty-Niners (5-6) in a game that could have major ramifications in how the division title race shapes up. Both teams trail the Rams (4-7) and will have to basically win out to catch them. But this task seems much more likely for the Niners than the Hawks, which by most variables are a pretty bad team.

At first glance the NFL football odds aficionado might be confused when he or she takes a look at the NFL odds for the Jacksonville Jaguars at the San Francisco Forty-Niners in week 12. The Jags (6-4) are 3 underdogs to the host Niners who at 4-6 have struggled all year.

The Niners have lost three in a row, albeit to some good teams, and has to win this game at home to stay in the hunt for the NFC West crown. Read more…
You couldn’t order up a better NFL football odds rebound for the Green Bay Packers after a gut-wrenching loss in the Favre Bowl than what’s dialed up for week 9. After having their hearts ripped out at Lambeau Field by the Favre and his new team this team needs a punching bag of an opponent to take out their frustrations and they’ll get it.
Poor Buccaneers. After a devastating and emotional loss like the one suffered on Monday Night, the Pack could use a trip to balmy Florida and a marshmallow opponent to run the score up on.
Now 3½ games back in the NFC North NFL football odds standings the team will also need a win. And they’ll get it.
Green Bay is still a playoff caliber team and could easily be one of the Wild Card teams in the NFL odds post season. It’s ranked in the top ten in both defense and offense and its 27 ppg is evidence of a potent offense. Read more…
