Bills Head to Jacksonville for another Loss

November 16th, 2009 by J. Corens No comments

Rams Cowboys FootballIs there anyone left in Buffalo who is still excited by the signing of Terrell Owens in the NFL football odds offseason? Probably not after Sunday’s sideline meltdown and another terrible performance against Tennessee.

Owens hasn’t caught a TD pass –or much of anything except negative public sentiment- in the past seven weeks and that’s likely to continue in Jacksonville. Read more…

Eagles Face a Stiff Challenge at Chargers

November 13th, 2009 by Scott Michael No comments

Browns Eagles FootballThe Eagles are team of many different identities this NFL football odds season. They are team that when firing on all cylinders is capable of putting more big plays than any other offense in football.

They are also a team that got blown out by Raiders, yes Raiders. And on Sunday this team has a very tough challenge in San Diego and if the offense is putting up big plays this team will lose.

San Diego got off to a rotten start but have now turned things around and are one of the hottest teams in NFL football odds at the moment. Phil Rivers is playing great as usual and the defense is starting to look like it knows what it’s doing. Shawn Merriman is finally healthy again for the first time all season and his sack totals have improved accordingly. The secondary, perennially a sore spot with this team has also looked much better. Clash of the AFC North Titans: Bengals at Steelers

November 11th, 2009 by Matthew Logan No comments

Clash of the AFC North Titans Bengals at SteelersThere is only one game in week nine that can rival this monumental AFC North NFL football odds matchup and that’s the undefeated Colts against the 6-2 Pats. But in terms of meaningful games, this one just might be the best matchup all week.

The Bengals and Steelers are both 6-2 and tied for first in the division. The Bengals won the first head-to-head meeting in Cincy with come from behind effort in the final seconds and control the tie-breaker.

The Steelers must win not only to take the NFL football odds lead outright, but to eliminate Cincy’s tiebreak advantage.

Both of these teams should be in the postseason and both teams harbor legitimate NFL odds hope for a shot at the Super Bowl.  In round one of this rivalry the Steelers dominated most of the game before giving up 14 points in the closing minutes. Don’t think this defense won’t forget. Read more…

Bucs Look to Keep Winning Streak Alive at Dolphins

November 9th, 2009 by J. Corens No comments

Bucs Look to Keep Winning Streak Alive at DolphinsThe Tampa Bay Bucs are in the midst of their longest winning NFL football odds streak in 12 games. That streak is all of one game, but at least it’s a start.

The Bucs have been terrible this year but with its first win of the season coming in week nine and rookie QB Josh Freeman showing a glimpse of promise, spirits are high. Too bad the one-game win streak will come to an end this week in Miami.

The Dolphins are a good football team that just can’t get a break in the NFL football odds schedule.

After enjoying the easiest schedule in the league last year, the team has been paid back with the hardest schedule in the NFL odds this season and the team’s 3-5 record is just as much a product of superior competition as it is poor play. Read more…

Titans Look to Extend Win Streak at San Fran

November 6th, 2009 by Scott Michael No comments

Titans Look to Extend Win Streak at San FranA one-game winning streak might seem like much to most football teams but when you’re the struggling Tennessee Titans it’s the best news you’ve heard all NFL football odds season.

Coming off the first win of the season, Tennessee (1-7) will look to stretch its longest win streak of the season to two-games when it head to the Bay to take on Mike Singletary’s Niners.

Surprisingly, this could turn out to be a very interesting NFL football odds contest. The Niners have been enigmatic at best this season and even though the Titans have proven to be a poor team it’s also a good litmus test for the team by the bay.

The Niners have lost three in a row, albeit to some good teams, and has to win this game at home to stay in the hunt for the NFC West crown. Read more…
