Donte Stallworth Suspended From the NFL

Stallworth hit and killed Mario Reyes on March 14th in the city of Miami. On June 16th he declared guilty of homicide, and was sentenced to one month in prison, 1,000 hours of community service, and with 10 years of parole.

Stallworth had a blood alcohol content level of .126 after the accident, which is very much above the legal limit of .08 in the state of Florida.

At the moment of the accident, Stallworth stopped his car and immediately called the police to inform them he had just hit Reyes. This move may have helped the judge be a little more benevolent when handing him his sentence.

The Browns placer reached a financial settlement with the family of the deceased.
