Titans Look to Extend Win Streak at San Fran
A one-game winning streak might seem like much to most football teams but when you’re the struggling Tennessee Titans it’s the best news you’ve heard all NFL football odds season.
Coming off the first win of the season, Tennessee (1-7) will look to stretch its longest win streak of the season to two-games when it head to the Bay to take on Mike Singletary’s Niners.
Surprisingly, this could turn out to be a very interesting NFL football odds contest. The Niners have been enigmatic at best this season and even though the Titans have proven to be a poor team it’s also a good litmus test for the team by the bay.
The Niners have lost three in a row, albeit to some good teams, and has to win this game at home to stay in the hunt for the NFC West crown.
Fortunately the Titans are still an awful team, even with Vince Young manning the ship and the Niners defense should be able to gut out the win in front of the home town crowd.
And it always seems like these types of match ups between two very dull offenses and sloppy defenses turn out to be the most entertaining NFL odds contests.
This actually boils down to a contest between two second-chance QBs. Alex Smith and Young were both highly touted prospects out of college and expected to be the saviors of the franchise.
Both have been busts so far, but have received a second chance due to the offenses sputtering with other QBs behind center.
On this day Smith should earn some more vindication by leading the Niners to another football odds win and pulling the team back to .500 for the season.
