Saints Look for win at Falcons
New Orleans seems to be a team of fate this NFL football odds season. The Saints have escaped from tighter jams than Houdini on their way to compiling a perfect 12-0 season record. And anyone who saw the team’s escape act in week 13 at Washington can only marvel at how this team cheated a loss.
As such it is all but impossible to bet against this team. If it didn’t lose to Redskins after trailing by 10 points in the 4th quarter and after getting break after wacky break it doesn’t seem possible that this team will drop a game in the football odds this season.
The Falcons would like to prove otherwise, especially in front of their home fans but the NFL odds are stacked mightily against them. Worse still for the Falcons fans, QB Matt Ryan’s status is unknown as is star RB Michael Turner is dinged up as well. That’s most of their offensive production right there, and without them, we all saw what the Eagles did to the team in the week 13 football odds (a 34-7 at home).
Drew Brees and the offense are so precise and can seemingly dial up a big play whenever they need it. The defense is equally impressive in its ability to create a turnover almost on cue.
It’s very likely the Saints will at some point drop a regular season football odds matchup, but it doesn’t seem like it will happen against a banged up Falcons squad in the week 14 football action.
