Redskins at Raiders
In NFL football odds these are two once proud franchises that been severely humbled over the past decade. The Raiders have consistently been among the worst three teams in the league in the new millennium and the Redskins have fallen to lowest point in franchise history. The Skins (3-9) enter this game as 1 point favorites in the NFL football odds. Not much a cushion and more or less a wash. The Raiders (4-8) have the advantage of playing at home in front of the deranged Raider Nation, a more obnoxious and weird group of humanity voluntarily gathered in one place you will not find.
Oakland is also coming off one of the team’s biggest wins in years having knocked off the defending (but severely fallen) Super Bowl champion Steelers in the NFL odds –in Pittsburgh no less. That’s got give even a team this bad a boatload of confidence heading into this football odds contest.
The Skins on the other hand are coming off a crushing defeat. In a game they should have won Washington let a win over the best team in football (New Orleans Saints) slip through their fingers in a series of stupid mistakes. It’s hard to imagine this team coming out with much fire in their belly after that kind of performance.
Raiders QB Bruce Gradkowski played brilliantly in week 13 and will look to pick up where he left off against strong Skins’ pass defense. Oakland has also played well at home this NFL betting season and they should pull off a miniscule upset by the Bay on Sunday.
