Niners Seahawks in important NFC West showdown
Not that many people are paying attention to the comings and goings of the NFC West (a division that has seemed relegated to second class despite producing two conference Champions in the past four years) but there is very important division match up this weekend on the NFL football odds.
The struggling Seahawks (4-7) will host the up and down Forty-Niners (5-6) in a game that could have major ramifications in how the division title race shapes up. Both teams trail the Rams (4-7) and will have to basically win out to catch them. But this task seems much more likely for the Niners than the Hawks, which by most variables are a pretty bad team.
San Fran still has a legitimate shot at the NFL odds division crown. It’s just two games back and 3-0 in division play including a win over the Cards. During the first meeting between these two teams this season the Niners won 23-10. There is little reason to expect a different outcome in this football odds matchup.
The Niners have their ups and downs this season but apples to oranges this is a better team than the Seahawks. Seattle has struggled on offense all year and against a quickly improving Niners defense the team should continue to struggle. If the Niners offense can somehow find a way to get two TDs this game will be over. Look for San Fran’s D to carry it on the road and for things to get very interesting in the coming weeks in the battle for the NFC West division crown.
