Eagles Face a Stiff Challenge at Chargers
The Eagles are team of many different identities this NFL football odds season. They are team that when firing on all cylinders is capable of putting more big plays than any other offense in football.
They are also a team that got blown out by Raiders, yes Raiders. And on Sunday this team has a very tough challenge in San Diego and if the offense is putting up big plays this team will lose.
San Diego got off to a rotten start but have now turned things around and are one of the hottest teams in NFL football odds at the moment. Phil Rivers is playing great as usual and the defense is starting to look like it knows what it’s doing. Shawn Merriman is finally healthy again for the first time all season and his sack totals have improved accordingly. The secondary, perennially a sore spot with this team has also looked much better.
And that unit will be put to the test in the NFL odds contest against the Eagles. QB Donovan McNabb has looked like a young man again at times with the wealth of young talent he’s got around him this year.
DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin et al., have all put up big plays this year, but the team lacks consistency.
The defense is not what it once was but it’s solid and better than many in the football odds.
