Broncos vs. Pats in the Belichik Bowl
Broncos vs. Pats in NFL football odds. Master vs. Protégé. Undefeated vs. 3-1. Mile High vs. Sea Level. This game has it all and should be one of the most exciting NFL football odds matchups of week 5.
When Josh McDaniels took the job as the Broncos head coach he did just everything humanly possible to screw the team up. Since than all he’s done is win (4-0 in his debut) and dished out humble pie to his NFL odds critics by the bucket.
Early on this season it seemed as if the Pats were unraveling and Tom Brady missing a step in a shaky 1-1 start. But the ships been righted and these are now two of the best team’s in the AFC, but both still have plenty of question marks.
The Broncos defense has been ridiculously good…against poor teams. But it took Dallas behind the woodshed in Week 4 and will get its chance to prove itself against one of the best offenses in the football odds.
Denver’s offense has also been proficient bad who knew Kyle Orton could do more than throw the ball to the other team and hand off?
The Pats offense struggled early on but was a bit hampered by injuries. With his full complement of receivers in place (Moss, Welker & Co.) Brady’s execution should only improve. But the Pats, despite a huge win against an excellent Baltimore squad last weekend have glaring weaknesses.
The Pats O-Line is struggling and the team’s starting RB is out which could mean a very long day for Brady against the league’s best defense which ranks second in sacks (15) and third in passing defense (162.5 yards a game).
Football odds favor the Pats by 3½ points but this could be biggest upset of the week and just another fairytale win for rookie coach McDaniels.
