Brett Favre is going back to his roots

When the Packers host the Vikings on Sunday afternoon it could very well be the most hostile NFL odds crowd that Favre has ever played in front of.

This will be a frigid affair which shouldn’t affect Favre any but could be a slight hindrance for his skill players; although anyone who saw them in action in the freezing game in Pittsburgh should have few concerns. The Vike’s blitz should once again feast on an inconsistent Packers O-line and QB Aaron Rogers must be on his knees praying that the O-coordinator can game plan a way to keep him off the turf.
But even though the Vikes have been the talk of the division (if not all the entire NFL odds) the Packers need take a backseat to no one in this division. The football odds list Green Bay as a deserving 3-point favorite. This is one of the rare cases where home field really will be the difference and because of the game’s location the nod goes to the host Packers.
