AFC West Battle for the Basement: Raiders at Chiefs
In what may be the least compelling game of the week two NFL football odds in the 2009 season the Oakland Raiders will travel to the heart of BBQ country to take on the Chiefs. But all things considered these are two evenly matched teams and it should be an entertaining -if sloppy- game
The Chiefs are a team with an identity crisis. A new coach, new GM, a recently fired offensive coordinator and an injured starting QB no one has much of an idea what to expect. After dropping a tough road game in Baltimore during NFL odds week one the jury is still out. The defense is definitely awful but the offense showed signs of life even with a second-string QB.
The Raiders have yet to take the field in 2009 but football odds expectations are low. The best news out of training camp was that Coach Tom Cable didn’t break his assistants jaw, only bruised it. Al Davis is running a crazy farm in Oakland and averaging fewer than five wins a season in the 21st century. Still the team isn’t without talent and with a little direction could even win a few games.
But it likely won’t be against the Chiefs. The Chiefs, despite the loss in Baltimore have reason to be optimistic. They held their own against one of the better teams in the NFL football odds league and did it without its franchise QB.
The Raiders on the other hand have little reason for hope aside from Davis’ resignation letter. It will be easier to evaluate the team after the Monday Night opener, but for now the Chiefs look the winner in this NFL odds match up.

I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to resolve this issue. If you have any recommendations, please share. Thanks!
